What can I expect on my first visit?

Treatment on the first appointment can vary, depending on the individual. For most patients, a dental cleaning, X-rays, and detailed exam occur on the first visit.  Dental emergency/pain appointments are handled on a case-by-case basis, wherein the issue is diagnosed and treatment is rendered, scheduled or the appropriate specialist referral is written.

Is there anything I should bring to my appointment?

Your dental team can be the first to recognize and diagnose a variety of systemic medical conditions, not just limited to your teeth and gums.  To help us provide the highest quality of care, we ask that patients bring an accurate, up-to-date medication/allergy list (including vitamins/supplements) and list of major surgeries and hospitilizations. For our records, and to properly estimate insurance benefits, we request you bring a copy of your dental insurance card. For a quicker check-in we suggest for you to bring a printed and filled out New Patient Form

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We understand that life can be hectic and circumstances arise that conflict with your dental appointment. In order to effectively utilize that time to assist other patients, we kindly request 24 hours cancellation notice, prior to the original appointment date. We give all patients a personal confirmation call the day prior to their scheduled appointment.
